Membership Engagement Initiative


Following the Surrey Association rule changes passed at the AGM in May 2019, the General Committee has been working on improving membership engagement. This will include launching a new on-line membership systems, updating the records of our members, and how we can improve communication to our members, whilst working to GDPR rules. We are calling this our Membership Engagement Initiative.

New Membership System Launching in January 21

The Surrey Association has decided to deploy MemberMojo as our online membership administration system. This decision follows a successful trial carried out by the Development Committee and was approved by the General Committee on 20th November. 
Deploying MemberMojo will:
  • Allow members to provide and update their contact details online themselves;
  • Provide email groups to replace the Yahoo facility and enhance it;
  • Ease the burden on our volunteer administrators;
  • Ensure we are GDPR compliant.
We will roll out MemberMojo in phases:
  • Dec ’20 - Jan ’21: Early registration for Tower Correspondents and General Committee ONLY
  • Feb ’21: Registration of all Surrey Association members
Please note: we will NOT be using MemberMojo to collect annual dues in 2021.
