History

The derelict 4-bell ring was restored in 1956, when the treble was re-cast and the 4th and 6th bells were added. The 5th bell is thought to have been founded by William Burford of Aldgate about 1380. The 3rd bell may be 17thcentury. The 2nd bell bears the inscription “Christopher Hodson made me 1683”.
