Practice Nights
To find out which towers practice on which nights of the week, go to the tower directory. The page provides a list of towers, number of bells and the practice night. Use the "Search By" panel on left to search for towers on a particular practice night.
Most towers have a regular practice but visitors are advised to check the details on the relevant tower page, view tower announcement for one-off changes to regular practices, and / or to email the tower contact.
All the individual tower page will have an email address to contact the tower secretary or the district secretary. However, if no email address is given or you don't get a reply, please send an email to the gensec [at] surreybellringers [dot] org [dot] uk (General Secretary )or one of the District secretaries.
There are no regular practices at the following towers:
- Clapham Common, St Mary RC (all ringing currently suspended by due to poor state of tower)
- Ranmore, St Barnabas
- Rotherhithe, St Mary with All Saints
- Southwark, St George the Martyr
- Tandridge St Peter (unringable)
- Wandsworth, All Saints (unringable)
Central London Congestion Charge applies to drivers Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 6.00pm (not public holidays, other non-charging days) for towers within the relevant zone. These towers are:
