The September draw was made at the Northern District practice meeting at Merton Park last Monday and the winner of the £25 prize was Nutfield Bellringers with No 94. Congratulations to those lucky ringers and commiserations to all the rest of you - don't worry, your time will come!

You will I'm sure remember that Alan Streeter of Nutfield was the winner of last month's bumper prize. Clearly our little yellow balls currently have a preference for the Southern District and for the Nutfield area in particular. That being so I strongly recommend that if you ring within three miles of Nutfield, ie at Bletchingley, Merstham, Redhill or Godstone, and you haven't yet bought a number, then now is the time to do so, before the little balls' penchant for that area drains away.
