The monthly draw was made at the Southern District meeting at Caterham yesterday, and the £25 prize was won by Gillian Leale of Kingston upon Thames with No 13.

Jill very kindly agreed to take unlucky number 13 back at the beginning of the Numbers Club, and she's very pleased that her choice has at last paid off after a long wait. So don't despair, everything comes to those who wait! As I've told you before, you will all win if you wait long enough! In fact I'm quite sure you will win before they finish ringing the extent on 24 handbells which I'm told is going to commence on my 75th birthday (and more importantly the 100th birthday of the Ringing World) on 26 March 2011.

Anyway the best of luck to all our ever hopeful investors with the bumper quarterly draw which will take place at the Northern District Nomination Meeting on 20 November.
