The June draw took place at the Southern District Summer Business Meeting on 26 June, and the £25 prize was won by Beddington Bellringers with No 116. Many congratulations to those fortunate ringers, who bought five numbers only recently. This only goes to show what some of us have long suspected, which is that the more numbers you have the more likely you are to win! So hurry along and buy another number soonest if you want to get as lucky as Jean and her happy team!

I was telling you last month about the chances of winning the national lottery, and how it's much better to have your money in the Numbers Club. Well I've now heard that there's more chance of having two ducks come down your chimney in the middle of the night than there is of winning the lottery!

Really? Is that true? Right, I'm off to buy a ticket!
