A quarter peal was rung on 21st Jan at Nutfield to mark the end of an era as John Hawes moves to Derby to take up his new post as Head Verger at Derby Cathedral.  As an enthusiastic promoter of quarter and peal ringing in the local areas John's departure will be felt by many and we all wish him good luck in his new job.
