Southern District (SD) events - open to everyone
Our regular monthly meetings are held on the fourth Saturday, except December when a midweek outing is arranged shortly after Christmas.
Allcomer practices cater for ringers of ALL standards from rounds upwards.

The May fourth Saturday practice will take place at Betchworth (8) from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
If you have never been to one of these practices before, why not come along and see what we get up to?
We will be ringing from Rounds and Call Changes upwards. If there is a Triples or Major method you have a burning desire to ring, and don't have the opportunity to do so very often, then the chances are you will be able to do so here. For those of you who want to ring one of the Standard 8 Surprise Major methods other than Cambridge or Yorkshire, please let sdmaster [at] surreybellringers [dot] org [dot] uk (Kate) know in advance.

The Southern District's BIG Centenary event will be a Hog Roast at St Lawrence's Church, Caterham (opposite St Mary's, Caterham).
The afternoon will commence with ringing on the 8 bells at St Mary's at 4 p.m., followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at 5.30 p.m., and a short business meeting at 6.00 p.m.
We will then cross the road to St Lawrence's Church grounds for the Hog Roast, with food available from about 7.00 p.m. Why not make it a "must attend" event for your band? ALL are welcome, including our friends from the North. Help us to make it THE social event of the year!
Tickets are on sale at £6 each from members of the Southern District committee.
