Go into the Cathedral by the main door (SW corner) walk along the north of the nave to the steps by the north transept. You will be met here and guided through the access door facing you in the NW corner of the tower.

History
St Saviours was the parish church of Southwark before becoming a Cathedral in 1905. The bells are one of the oldest rings of 12, having been cast by Samuel Knight in 1736.
Transport
By Road: Cathedral is sited to the left of the A100, after passing under the railway overbridge and before crossing London Bridge. Parking is available in the market area adjoining the Cathedral and accessed through the Market entrance,bearing left at the previous set of traffic lights to London Bridge railway station.
By Bus: Routes 21, 35, 40, 47, 133, 381 and P3 pass the Cathedral.
By Train: To London Bridge. Take main northern exit from the station towards London Bridge. The Cathedral is facing across the other side of the road.
Facilities
Toilets are available in the Cathedral.
The refectory is open during the day and there are pubs in the Borough Market area, including the Wheatsheaf, the Globe and the Market Porter.
